Anglo Bengali Inter College, Allahabad has a glorious 140 years history. Situated in the heart of the city, it has been glorified by the visit of several illuminaries like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose & Rabindranath Tagore. Since the establishment of the Institution, emphasis was on all round development of the students. The alumni list reflects the magnitude of school achievement with enormous names of personalities who achieved the zenith of their carrier in judiciary, academics, politics, armed forces, police etc. It has produced several sports personalities of national level. The institution , as now has always been gifted by a highly intellectual, supportive & most capable management whose guidings & blessings always helped to nourish the institution. In recent years, there has been a continuous rise in the number of students. In the caring & efficient hands of the teachers, these buds blossom to spread their fragnance with their omnipresence.

They bring laurels for them & for their alma mater. Disciplined & educated they strive forward a golden future ready to embrace them. Being on the chair of the principal, accompanied supportive teachers, staffs and praise worthy management it makes the challenge easy to tackle the obstacles which comes in the way of development of the institution. It is well said "mentem hominis spectatanon forntem" i.e. men are judged by their deeds & not by their appearance.
